Pair With The Pros Tournament Rules, Regulations, and Guidelines
Golf is a Game of Integrity!
All General Rules of SteepleJAC will apply first and foremost.
The General Universal Rules of Golf are also enforced.
The Local course Rules and Ettiquette may also intercede.
Rules, Regulations, and Guidelines for SteepleJAC Pair with the PGA Pros Tournaments.
1. All participants in the Pair With The PGA Pros must register and accurately complete a SteepleJAC Profile.
2. All Tournament fees must be paid for at the time of registration into a tournament.
3. All green fees, local league fees, local membership fees are the responsibility of the participants. This also includes and is not limited to all other incidentals, food/beverages, or charges incurred to play in a pair with the pro tournament.
4. Registration and game play deadlines are final. SteepleJAC reserves the right to change, alter, cancel, or postpone any date or deadline as required.
5. Although Pair With The Pros leaderboards coincide with posted PGA Pro Tournament Leaderboards, SteepleJAC does not take any responsibility for the PGA Tournament Leaderboard errors, ommissions, or corrections. SteepleJAC reserves the right to alter, change, modify, revise the Pair With The Pro Tournament Leaderboards based on the discretion and reasoning regarding each incident.
6. SteepleJAC Players 'seed' is randomly generated in an 'Open Field'. The number of spots/spots in the Registered Players Open Field is determined by SteepleJAC. SteepleJAC reserves the right to set, alter, revise, cancel, or postpone registration and the Open Field at any time based on the demographics, feasibility, and participation in the Tournament. The randomly generated 'seed' determining placement on the Paired Leader Board is final. Note that the 'seed' placement may or may not be the same as on the SteepleJAC Compressed Players List.
7. The SteepleJAC Compressed Players Leader Board takes the randomly generated seeds and compresses the lists for a final order and list of Registered Players. For example, There may be 100 seeds/spots in the Registered Players Open Field. There were 90 random seeds distributed and accounted for by Registered Players dispersed between the numbers 1 - 100. When The Registration Deadline occurs, the 90 numbered seeds are compressed to numbered 'placings' on the Compressed Players List. The Registered Players are kept in the same chronological ordering however may receive a different number based on the compression of seeds to placings from 1 -100 to 1 - 90. The the numbered placing assigned to the players on the Compressed Players List determined the PGA Pro which the Registered Players are paired with. The seeds, compression, placing, and pairing procedure is final. SteepleJAC reserves the right to change, alter,or revise the procedure, Open Field List, or Compressed Player's List in the event of extenuating circumstances or changes in the PGA Leaderboard before/at/after the PGA cuts have occurred for the tournament.
8. A Registered Player is allowed one registration/seed/placing/PGA Pro pairing per SteepleJAC Pair With The Pro Tournament. Duplicate registrations will result in automatic disqualification.
9. The scorecard assigned at the time of registration designating the Golf Course and the Tee Box must be played. The date and time of the Registered Player's round must be recorded on the scorecard and may be validated by request of green fee reciept and tee sheet assignment. Any falsification of the scores, errors in information provided,or failure to provide validation for the round played, either intentional or unintentional, will result in disqualification from the tournament. Note that it is the responsibility of the Registered Player to know , understand, and accept the Rules as outlined above. As a reminder, Mulligans and Gimmies are not allowed and all penalties must be applied and recorded.
10. Under no circumstances will refunds for tournament play be provided.
